Keum-boo (also Kum-Boo or Kum-bu, means Korean "attached gold") is an ancient Korean gilding technique used to apply thin sheets of gold to silver, to make silver-gilt. Traditionally, this technique is accomplished by first depleting the surface of sterling silver to bring up a thin layer of fine silver. Then 24 carat gold foil is applied with heat and pressure - mechanical gilding - to produce a permanent diffusion bond.

Each piece is handmade and finished to a high standard. These earrings are perfect choice for minimalists and everyday wear.

Material: Sterling Silver, 24K Gold

Dimensions: 14mm x 14mm plus 11mm pin
(Proportion of gold and size of piece may vary slightly due to the property of handmade)

Earrings will be wrapped in acid free tissue and stored in recyclable, good quality and branded cardboard gift box to ensure them arrive safely and beautifully.
